Water resistance
正如我们熟悉的煎锅上的涂层,某些表面处理技术具备良好的防水防油性能。其中,防水性通常通过“水滴接触角”来衡量:接触角越大,表示表面对水的排斥力越强,防水效果越好。
在工业零部件中,从防滴、防污等角度出发,防水性同样是一项重要性能。因为它能有效减少液体与固体表面的接触面积,从而降低界面间的相互作用,提升设备清洁性与可靠性。
通过化学镀镍提升防水性能,通常是通过与PTFE形成复合涂层来实现的。PTFE具备极高的疏水性,而将其与化学镀镍结合,不仅保留了化学镀层的硬度和耐磨性,同时赋予了表面优异的防水防油功能。
“Kaniflon”正是这种复合处理的代表之一。它将PTFE的防水特性与镍镀层的机械强度结合,能够在长时间使用中保持防水性能,即便涂层遭受一定磨损,也具有较高的持续性和可靠性,是应对防水类表面处理需求的有效方案。
Like the coating on familiar frying pans, some surface treatments resist water and oil well. Water repellency is measured by "water contact angle": larger angle = stronger repulsion, better performance. For industrial parts, water repellency matters for anti-dripping and anti-fouling. It cuts liquid-solid contact, reduces interfacial interactions, and boosts equipment cleanliness and reliability. Electroless nickel plating boosts water repellency via composite coating with PTFE. PTFE is highly hydrophobic; combining it with electroless nickel keeps the latter’s hardness/wear resistance while adding strong water/oil repellency. "Kaniflon" is a typical such composite treatment. It blends PTFE’s water repellency with nickel plating’s strength, maintaining performance long-term. Even with slight wear, it’s durable and reliable—an effective water-repellent solution.
